Artist/film maker: Annie Catford has created 14 unique videos inspired by the ‘whereness’ album.
They are quirky, playful, & celebratory delivering a personal message about contemporary life.
Annie trained as a painter and has been making films for over ten years.
Her films are influenced by her fine art background, and she continues to dream.
What Annie likes about film is that the ideas can be altered at any stage.
They can also be projected to any size on any surface or reduced to a phone screen and unlike painting don’t require space.
Before creating these films Annie listened to a track once or twice, picked up her camera and went hunting for images, sometimes the film's subjects were shot indoors.
Usually, the ideas are immediate and often a fusion of seen and remembered visions.
Annie’s films have been shown at Film Festivals and art exhibitions.

‘whereness’ music fuses different cultural flavours, that can be described as ‘Radical Ambient’, mixing unusual and sometimes challenging soundscapes with soothing, sensitive, meditative passages, stimulating imagination, weaving together wild tension with gentle releases. This is music full of ‘whereness’.
